Jordan Brookes: I’ve Got Nothing

No tricks. No gimmicks. No plan. Just an hour in my company. Things will be over soon. We’re nearly there, everyone! Great work. But before we go, I’m making one last attempt to find human connection in the here and now, to snuffle out what remaining joy there is in a rapidly crumbling world, before it’s too late. It’ll be loose, playful and raw.

The Death Hilarious - You're Human Like The Rest Of Them (WiP)

Righteous Welsh, working-class anti-hero The Death Hilarious has quit comedy in favour of the more lucrative business of spiritualism, allowing the ghosts of the Philip Schofield Memorial Tower to enter every available orifice with zero regard for the venue’s health and safety policies. This narrative sketch and character show unravels a story of love, migrant jellyfish, betrayal, cultural genocide and a fox reading a bank statement.

Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee, 2018.

“A bold and unique new voice in comedy…” – Steve Bennett, Chortle, ****

“This darkly impressive debut is packed with countless elements, rich, strange and deviously chilling.” – Jay Richardson, The Scotsman, ****

"Immersive and brilliant comedy…" - The Bristol Post.
